Nozawa Onsen Lodge

Nozawa Onsen Lodge is a unique egg-shaped lodge designed by Takamasa Yoshizaka, one of Japan’s leading architects, who trained under the world-famous Le Corbusier.

The lodge offers hostel-style rooms or self-contained apartment options.

Heidi Apartment

The Heidi apartment is located adjacent to the main building.

The first floor has a kitchen, a large lounge-dining space, a shower room and toilet and a bunk room that can sleep up to 4 people in 2 bunk beds.

The loft area on the second floor has two double beds.

Heidi can accommodate up to 8 people, making it ideal for a group of friends or two families.

Studio Apartment

This Studio Apartment is located in the basement portion of the main building. The studio has a kitchenette, dining space, and day bed. There is also a separate shower room, toilet, and drying room for the comfort of your family. The beds are made up of a double bed and two single beds (a bunk bed and a sofa bed).

Lodge Rooms

Lodge accommodations consist of six rooms designed in a hostel-style layout. These rooms provide access to a communal, well-equipped kitchen area and a shared common space, all situated on the first floor. The lower level of the lodge houses the shared showers and restrooms. The lodge also has a shared ski storage and dry room facility.
