Tanuki is located in the heart of Nozawa. Everything is within walking distance. Nozawa onsen’s most famous onsen, Oyu is just outside the building, and there are many restaurants, cafés and bars in the surrounding area. It is also easy to access all the other 13 hot springs on foot.

Schneider is situated within the Hikage ski area of Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort. Our services include a complimentary over-snow shuttle in the mornings, convenient for check-outs before the ski resort opens, as well as a scheduled evening shuttle to and from the village. Please note that our shuttle service doesn’t operate during the ski resort’s hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The Hikage Gondola Station, Kids Park, and Japan Ski Museum are all just a short walk or ski away.
