Nozawa is located on the slopes of Mt. Kenashi and is one of Japan’s oldest ski grounds. The resort receives a consistent amount of snowfall each year, making it the perfect spot for a winter getaway.

The heart of the old Nozawa Onsen ski resort, easily accessed from the village by the "Yu Road" travellator or free shuttle service from the Nagasaka area. Home to the main ski school, ticket offices, day care center, several restaurants, and the kids park.
The Hikage Gondola, a quad lift and a triple lift to connect to the Nagasaka Goldola.

Nozawa Onsen ski resort's mountaintop area, consisting of five courses (A to E). Offers expansive views and wide-open spaces, contrasting the narrow streets of the hot spring village below. Depending on snow conditions, this area can run until early May. On clear days, you can see the Sea of Japan from the summit.
Covered quad lift to the top of A course at the summit, and an open quad lift to the top of D and E courses.
