Submit a Booking Request

(Calendar opens on February 25)

From February 25, we will start accepting reservation requests for stays from December 1, 2025 onwards.
Please submit your Booking Request by searching desired dates.
Our reservation team will process requests in the order they are received.

Provisional Booking & Confirmation

After reviewing your request, we will check availability and place a temporary hold on the room.
To confirm your booking, we will send you an invoice for a 20% deposit.
Your reservation will be confirmed once the deposit is paid within 3 days.

A "Booking Request" does not guarantee a room reservation.
Our team will process requests in order and check availability before confirming your booking.
Check-in dates may have to change depending on the property.
We will inform you if any adjustments are needed before confirming your booking.
Reservations are only accepted online.
We do not process bookings over the phone.
Some properties are not accepting bookings yet or has closure on booking dates.

Cancellation Policy for Peak Winter Season

Cancellations within 90 days of check-in during peak season will be charged 100% of the total accommodation fee. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover cancellation fees in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Tanuki Nozawa

Tanuki is located in the heart of Nozawa Onsen, consisting of three interconnected buildings. It features a total of 6 apartments and 6 hotel rooms. Tanuki also houses a teppanyaki restaurant, sushi restaurant, a retail shop, cafe, and bar. Nozawa Onsen’s most famous onsen, Oyu is just outside the building guests can enjoy traditional Japanese bathing.

Tanuki is located in the heart of Nozawa. Everything is within walking distance. Nozawa onsen’s most famous onsen, Oyu is just outside the building, and there are many restaurants, cafés and bars in the surrounding area. It is also easy to access all the other 13 hot springs on foot. Skiing enthusiasts will appreciate the convenient 5-minute walk to the “Yu-Road” moving walkway, which swiftly transports guests to the Hikage gondola area, providing easy access to the slopes.

Schneider Hotel

The Schneider Hotel, located on the Hikage Ski Area, is a family-friendly accommodation offering the convenience of ski-in ski-out access. Schneider is inaccessible by car, so we provide a complimentary over-snow shuttle service in the mornings for guests checking out before the ski resort opens, as well as scheduled transportation in the evenings for convenient travel to and from the village. There is a restaurant and a bar inside the hotel, so you can enjoy your day and night without going to the village. Room rates include buffet-style breakfast daily in the restaurant.

Schneider is located on the ski slopes of the Hikage area, accessible only over the snow. We provide a complimentary morning over-snow shuttle for check-outs before the ski resort opens, and an evening shuttle to and from the village. Note that the shuttle doesn't run during ski resort hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and has limited seating. The Hikage Gondola Station, Kids Park, and Japan Ski Museum are a short ski or walk away.
